NC State University: Design Camp

NC State University's Design Camp, organized by the Design Lab for K12 Education and Outreach, is a pre-college program for middle and high school students, introducing them to the world of design. The camp offers age-specific programs, with middle school day camps focusing on hands-on design projects, enhancing creative problem-solving skills. High school students can choose between a week-long day camp exploring various studio disciplines or an immersive residential camp that mirrors college life in design studies. Additionally, the Digital Design Camp caters to both age groups, emphasizing design thinking. Led by College of Design students, the camp nurtures creativity, critical thinking, and provides insights into design careers and college paths, preparing young learners for futures in design.
