Since 1963, the National Youth Science Camp (NYSCamp), part of the National Youth Science Academy, has been a premier residential science education program for high-achieving high school graduates interested in STEAM fields. Hosted in West Virginia's Monongahela National Forest, it selects two delegates from each U.S. state and various international countries, offering a fully-funded experience covering all essentials. The curriculum combines STEAM education with creative arts and outdoor activities like kayaking and rock climbing. Delegates also visit Washington D.C. for educational tours. The program features world-class lectures, directed studies, and seminars, aiming to inspire STEAM careers, extend learning beyond K-12, and foster a global network of young leaders. NYSCamp is a transformative experience, shaping future STEAM professionals and innovators.
