National Society of Black Engineers: SEEK Program

The Summer Engineering Experience for Kids (SEEK) program, offered by the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), aims to foster STEM interest among Black students. Established in 1975, NSBE's goal is to increase the number of proficient Black engineers who contribute positively to their communities. SEEK, a free three-week program, provides quality STEM education, focusing on areas like coding, robotics, and drones. Its curriculum is designed to be both educational and engaging, encouraging exploration in various STEM fields. Participation demands commitment, including mandatory parent orientations, to ensure an effective learning environment. More than a summer camp, SEEK equips young minds with the essential skills and motivation to pursue future STEM careers and leadership roles.
