MN Institute for Talented Youth: ExplorSchool

"Established in 1967 by a group of local educators, the Minnesota Institute for Talented Youth (MITY) is dedicated to offering dynamic educational experiences for students. It prioritizes interactive, multidisciplinary learning to cultivate intellectual curiosity, enhance creative problem-solving skills, and foster an environment of respect and open-mindedness among a diverse group of talented learners. Key to MITY's approach is maintaining small class sizes, employing outstanding faculty, and creating a supportive atmosphere that allows students to discover and hone their individual abilities. MITY's ExplorSchool program specifically caters to middle school students in grades 5-7, providing an engaging and intellectually stimulating setting.
