Mission Road- S.O.A.R. & More

Mission Road Ministries, under the auspices of the First Presbyterian Church of San Antonio, dedicates itself to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), following Christian principles. Central to their mission is the recognition of the intrinsic value and dignity of each person, drawing inspiration from Christian tenets. Their work is concentrated on helping these individuals realize their fullest potential and actively participate in society. Emphasizing principles such as faith, family, integrity, respect, and teamwork, Mission Road Ministries operates the S.O.A.R. & More program. This initiative offers a stimulating mix of summer camp and after-school activities for children with IDD. The program, open to both residential and local community children in San Antonio, encompasses academic involvement, life skills training, arts, and sports, aiming at the comprehensive development of its participants.
