MCAD Youth Summer Camp

The Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) champions creative leadership, promoting transformation in society through equity, empathy, and imagination. Their mission is to provide a supportive educational environment, encouraging students from diverse backgrounds to become accomplished artists and thinkers, ready to contribute in a global context. The MCAD Youth Summer Camps, designed for children aged 6-12, focus on creativity and art. They offer a variety of engaging activities, such as painting, bookmaking, and animation, in partnership with institutions like the University of Minnesota Raptor Center and the Bakken Museum. The program is part of the Minneapolis College of Art and Design's extensive studio-arts offerings.
