Malvern Day Camp

Malvern Day Camp, located in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania, offers a vibrant and safe summer experience for children aged 5 to 14. Accredited by the American Camp Association, this camp provides a diverse array of activities catered to different age groups, ensuring a fun and enriching summer for every child. Children at Malvern Day Camp are divided into groups based on age, grade level, or parental preference. The Mini Campers, aged 5-6, Junior Campers, aged 7-9, and Senior Campers, aged 10-12, each enjoy activities suited to their developmental stage. There's also a Counselor-In-Training program for 13 and 14-year-olds, offering them a blend of fun and learning while preparing them for future leadership roles. The camp offers a wide range of activities to engage the children. These include kayaking, various sports, swimming, and an adventure course. The arts and crafts program allows for creative expression, while the nature and waterfront activities offer a chance to explore the outdoors. The camp also features an indoor rock wall and a game called Gaga, among other activities. The program is designed to focus on safety, quality leadership, and age-appropriate, skill-based activities. Malvern Day Camp runs for 10 weeks each summer, starting in mid-June. It offers a standard day schedule from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with extended hours available for families needing them. To ensure that all children get to experience the full range of activities, regardless of how many days per week they attend, the camp has a rotating schedule. In addition to the summer activities, Malvern Day Camp is associated with The Malvern School, which provides educational programs for children from six weeks to eight years old year-round. This connection enriches the camp's approach to child development and learning.
