Give your kids the opportunity to live and learn in America's most biodiverse national park. Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont offers summer camps that connect kids with nature – and each other – through new, empowering experiences full of curiosity, discovery, and wonder. Options include: Discovery Camp, Girls in Science, Firefly Camp, Family Camp, Wilderness Adventure Trek, Backcountry Ecological Expedition, Trout Camp, and Teen High Adventure - and even a Naturalist Week Camp just for adults! Nestled in the mountains of Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Tremont is the perfect location for self-discovery and building connections to the natural world. Campers fall asleep to the sounds of cicadas and awake to birds singing in the mountain morning sun. During the day, they’ll have unforgettable experiences splashing in mountain streams, climbing ridges to unbelievable views, and discovering secrets about the plants and animals that call the Smokies home. Camps are all-inclusive, so you won’t have to worry about food or lodging during your child’s stay. Plus, they’ll be surrounded by our experienced team of creative, skilled, and caring naturalists and educators.
