DigiPen Academy Pre-College Summer Programs

DigiPen Academy's Pre-College Summer Programs provide an excellent opportunity for high school seniors to explore their interests while being introduced to college-level coursework in an engaging online environment. Program Offerings Include: • Art & Animation • Game Design • Video Game Programming • Music & Sound Design Course Length and Location: Four Weeks – Online July 8th to August 2nd, 2024 During the four-week online course, students learn the fundamentals of their chosen field and work collaboratively with peers across the globe to develop valuable skills, enhance their academic preparedness, and gain a deeper understanding of the game industry. Mornings are dedicated to learning core concepts from faculty-level instructors, and afternoons are spent in the project lab, where students immerse themselves in the roles of programmers, game designers, artists, music composers, and sound designers. Aligned with the curriculum of DigiPen Institute of Technology in mind— one of the world's Top Five Video Game Design Schools —the program ensures students gain expertise in their chosen track. Upon completion, students receive an official transcript of their grades, which is valuable for inclusion in their college applications.
