Deep Portage Learning Center Fishing/Aquatics Camp

The Deep Portage Learning Center's Fishing/Aquatics Camp, is a unique experience for 10 to 14-year-olds. The camp provides an immersive learning environment where fishing is combined with valuable lessons on lake limnology, water ecosystems, and fisheries management. Participants will have the opportunity to use Big Deep Lake, Bass Pond, Boy River, and Little Boy Lake as both their fishing spots and outdoor classrooms. This engaging program encourages campers to bring their fishing gear for a chance to catch significant fish while becoming better anglers and responsible stewards of water resources.
