Camp Kehilla

Camp Kehilla is a unique camp experience offered by Sid Jacobson JCC, specializing in catering to children and young adults aged 5-21 with special needs. The camp is a pioneer in providing a typical camp experience for those with developmental disabilities, Autism spectrum disorders, and other neurodevelopmental conditions. Activities such as swimming, arts & crafts, and sports are blended with social facilitation techniques to help campers develop social skills and forge friendships in an environment similar to a neurotypical setting. The camp's structure is flexible, allowing for the individual strengths of each camper to be recognized and nurtured, ensuring a personalized experience for all attendees.
