Austin Chamber Music Workshop
The Austin Chamber Music Center's Summer Workshop is a dynamic chamber music camp held at the University of Texas at Austin. Catering to musicians of all ages, it offers a diverse range of activities including chamber music, chamber orchestra, and various music elective classes. The program is divided into three age groups: Primary Division for ages 7-10, Young Artists Division for ages 11-18, and an Adult Division for those 18 and older. Participants receive coaching, engage in masterclasses, and perform in Bates Recital Hall. This workshop not only nurtures musical skills like pitch, rhythm, and tone but also fosters confidence, creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking. It's a unique opportunity to collaborate with passionate musicians and work with leading local and visiting artists, making it an ideal blend of musical learning and summer fun.
