Art Academy of Cincinnati Camp Art Academy

The Camp Art Academy at the Art Academy of Cincinnati is a six-week educational program designed for first to sixth graders. Each week focuses on a different theme, allowing for attendance from one to all six weeks. The program emphasizes hands-on, studio-based learning, fostering skills in drawing, painting, textile, sculpture, printmaking, and illustration. Incorporating elements of STEAM, the camp encourages self-discovery, teamwork, and expression. Students gain inspiration from global artists and AAC alumni, working on individual and collaborative projects. At the week's end, a gallery opening showcases their creations. This immersive experience aims to nurture creativity, technical skills, and a sense of community among young artists.
