4-H Tanglewood Camp

The 4-H Camp & Learning Centers at Tanglewood & Blueberry Cove, part of the University of Maine Cooperative Extension, offer an enriching environment for youth education. Nestled in natural settings like the Ducktrap River in Camden Hills State Park and overlooking Tenants Harbor, these centers focus on environmental education and nature-based experiences. Tanglewood emphasizes teaching youth about responsible stewardship of natural ecosystems. The camp provides a variety of programs including summer camps, teen leadership, and discovery trip programs, as well as year-round educational opportunities through their Open Air Classroom. Their mission is centered on fostering effective and caring citizenship towards the Earth among young people from Maine and beyond.
